Regain Trust is a registered charitable, educational, social welfare trust established in 2015 with the core mandate of providing psycho-social support services for survivors of GBV. The organisation offers free psychosocial support services in the form of psychological therapy for survivors of GBV. In its efforts to play an increasing role towards National efforts to curb GBV the organisation implements a variety of activities aimed at raising awareness, capacity building, media and advocacy on issues related to Gender, Women’s Empowerment, Human Rights and GBV. The organisation is well known for its public dialogues which it co-facilitates with the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung. Regain Trust’s primary mission is to promote the existence of a society that has zero tolerance for violence against women in Namibia.
